Inspired by the generous love and example of Jesus Christ, the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) is an international Catholic organisation with a mission to Accompany, Serve, and Advocate on behalf of refugees and other forcibly displaced persons regardless of race, gender, religion or politics.
We believe in walking alongside and accompanying the vulnerable and marginalized, with the aim of providing a spiritual and practical response to their plight. JRS believes in the intrinsic dignity of every person and is committed to finding ways to empower refugees to become “people with a voice of their own”.
Jesuit Refugee Service (Singapore) Ltd was registered in early 2017 and attained Charity status in August 2020. We are a member organisation of Caritas Humanitarian Aid & Relief Initiatives, Singapore (CHARIS).
Our Vision
An inclusive, equitable world where every individual can live with dignity, have a voice and a right to self-determination.
Our Mission
To accompany, serve and advocate on behalf of refugees and other forcibly displaced persons, that they may heal, learn and determine their own future.

- wellness programs to better manage stress and enhance emotional resilience and
- facilitated virtual internships with values-aligned partners to prepare asylum seekers and refugees for future employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Migrant Outreach Programme
JRS Singapore started a Migrant Outreach Programme to support a Singapore-based community of migrants. We plan to organize workshops as well as social events and outings to create opportunities for interaction with our migrant brothers and sisters. JRS Singapore hopes to create an inclusive environment in Singapore for our migrant community.
